ABOUT
“An Irish boy, with an English Voice."
SON OF CORMACK is a British/Irish singer-songwriter and guitarist shaped by an unconventional upbringing—raised in English pubs to the sound of jukebox lullabies in the 80’s. After a decade in London honing his craft, he has begun self-releasing his music for the first time, blending introspective songwriting with a raw, lived-in edge.
BBC Introducing picked up on the track she put down, earning radio play, a live on-air session with BBC Hereford & Worcester, and a performance on the BBC Introducing stage at Lakefest. A full-length album is set for release in 2026.
His debut single is a fast-paced song, ”Accelerate to a Standstill,” essentially a metaphor for not addressing difficult situations head-on, but primarily about not responding fast enough; or taking responsibility for, the ever-present reality of climate change.
